With Ushuaia Insect O. serves 4 tracks of his dub techno inspired sound.

The title track Ushuaia is a dark dub techno version of his ambient track Fin del Mundo. It has been originally released on Etui Winter Camp 5 compilation. Field recordings laying above mystic synth chords leaving you with the feeling of wandering around at the end of the world. The second track Shipwreck he recorded live on his modular synthesizer. With this track he explored feedback patching to shape sparkling rhythms.

The 3rd track Jacaranda Blossom Street starts with a melancholic homage. It is full of emotional moments while the beat slowly arrives and fades away. Just like memories do. The EP closes with synth chords of his Prophet 6 synthesizer and swirling echoes in the track When It Ends.

Insect O. composes music for travelling between ambient, dub and techno. Since 2013 he organizes workshops about music production for DAVE Festival in Dresden. In 2018 he released his full lenght Atacama.
